INTRODUCING ELEMENT - BLENDING STRENGTH, BODYBUILDING AND AEROBIC FITNESS

Made for individuals who want to do it all, our program blends bodybuilding exercises and big movements like squats, deadlifts, pressing alongside dedicated endurance sessions to make you the best rounded hybrid athlete you can be.

WHO'S IT FOR?

Anyone wanting a blend of aerobic and strength training, all whilst elevating their physique and overall performance.

HOW OFTEN WILL I TRAIN?

The program breaks things down into 4-6 training sessions per week, ensuring adaptability to fit in with your lifestyle. Each session clocks in at approximately 60 minutes, making it a fit even for the busiest hybrid athletes.

WHAT KIT DO I NEED?

Access to a barbell, plates, dumbbells, adjustable bench and a power rack are essential. Nice to have extras would be a cable machine, step up/plyo box, kettlebells and a bike/Concept2 ergs. If you don't have access to the latter selection of gear, it's not a problem - you can do all of the program, there will just be some easy to make substitutions.

PROGRAM DETAILS

You'll be performing the following sessions:

  • 2-3 x strength sessions. These form the backbone of the program, building muscle and your durability by enhancing your strength across various movement patterns.
  • 1-2 x steady state cardiovascular sessions. Build your aerobic capacity with sessions dedicated to building your endurance and stamina.
  • 1 x high intensity interval session. Push your limits and build your speed with running sprints, on the bike or Concept2 Ergs.
